The Girls

Oh, my. Aren't those the orneriest faces you
have ever seen? Keeton is the sweet, gentle,
sensitive one. And Emma, well what can I say!
Those of you who know her, you know what I'm
talking about :)

My SWEETS!!!

I think she is cutting about 5 teeth at once.
Her clothes are always soaked!

She wants to put everything in her mouth.

I think she was trying to get Sara's finger in there.

What a cute little monkey. My mom

made her costume for the school play. Sure

do wish I could sew!

Sooooo sweeeeet. I let the girls take naps together. Emma loves snuggling up to Miley. They are so precious. Amazingly they sleep very well together and thank God too, they will be sleeping buddies before I know it. Miley still sleeps in her crib at night though, I'm scared a pillow or something will end up on her face!

I don't know if there is anything sweeter in life than watching a baby sleep. My grandmother always told me to "never wake a sleeping baby".
Miley loves her elephant. She always has to be holding on to something. I think she likes the feel of it.

My Babies

Miley was 4 months old here. Isn't she getting long? All of my kids are going to be taller than me!!! Oh well, I'm still the boss!

Spiritual Gifts

Miley got up at 5:00 a.m. this morning. I decided to stay up and put on a pot of coffee. For the first time in a long time I didn't go back to sleep with her. Instead I did something that has been on my heart for a long long time. I grabbed my bible and spent an hour dwelling in God's Word. Oh, how good it felt to be in the quiet, just me and Him. I started my day off right and I actually feel better. Hmmm, imagine that!

I was reading Romans 12:6 where God tells us that each of us has been blessed with different spiritual gifts. As I was reading, I started thinking about my close friends and how different we are from each other, but at the same time we amazingly balance each other out. God is Good. All the Time.

Here are some spritual gifts that my bible offered:

1. Servers are faithful and loyal - Me and Amanda

2. Encouragers know how to motivate others - Dawn and Aimee

3. Givers are generous and trusting - Amanda

4. Leaders are good organizers and managers - with out a doubt, hands down Dawn

5. Showing kindness to others are caring people who don't mind giving up time for others - Holly and Ellen

6. Helpers support the behind the scences efforts that make things more effective and run smoothly - Ellen and Me

7. Compassion moves people to action on behalf of those in need - Brandi, Haylee and Aimee

I am so thankful for all of my friends and the differences in each of us. Their strengths are my weaknesses and we are able to lift each other up, encourage each other and love on each other because we bring so many different attributes of Christ to His table. My how I have been blessed with so many wonderful people in my life.

Of course there are more than 7 spiritual gifts and you may possess more that just one. If you have about 20 min. I challenge you to take on of the following spritual gifts assessments. You may surprise yourself!!!

Can you believe I finally got my own blog? I have been talking about starting a blog for a long time now. I am so excited!!! What a wonderful way to keep in touch with my family who live far away from us and to get out what God puts on my heart.
